Do you like cycling, but think you’re not “fit” enough to ride with an organized group?
- Do you love the feel of the wind on your face, but don’t care what speed it goes by?
- Do you like discovering new places and things, but without any nasty surprises or getting lost?
- Do you like meeting new people, but are secretly afraid of lycra lizards?
Congratulations! – TRAMPS is the group for you.
TRAMPS are a family orientated, social group of recreational cyclists who meet on alternate Sundays. TRAMPS encourage safe group riding, on quiet country roads. Rides are carefully planned and supported by a “sag” wagon which carries your bag, provides water and first-aid as required, and carries you and your bike if necessary.
TRAMPS ride leaders set a leisurely pace, enabling all riders to have sufficient breath for a good chat along the way. “Tail end Charlie” provides company and encouragement to slower riders. Regular breaks are taken so slower riders can keep up with the group.
Come and ride with the TRAMPS. You’ll meet new friends, and discover new places in your own backyard.
